Pin a listing, then Start sale: two different actions

A pin tells your audience what you’re showing. Start sale tells them they can buy it.

Pinning is attention

Once the show is live, choose a listing from its Shop and select Pin. It appears over the video for everyone. The buyer sees Not on sale yet until a sale starts.

Prepare the line-up off air. Pin and Pin next require the show to be live in every environment. Unpin remains available when sale and payment guards allow it. A pin does not reserve stock, start a payment or start a sale.

Start a sale

Go live, then pin a listing and select Start sale. Buying opens in the listing’s saved format. Start sale and Re-run require a live show.

  1. Add a complete listing to the show.
  2. Go live when you are ready and verification is approved.
  3. Select Pin to put the listing in front of buyers.
  4. Select Start sale on the pinned listing.

What happens next

Buy Now and Flash let buyers choose quantities within the saved limits. The listing stays in its format tab and is marked Pinned.

End sale closes the offer. End closes the broadcast and new commerce; existing authorised payments still settle. If something fails, use the retry tied to the attempted action rather than switching listing identity.
