Manage quantity, add stock or create separate listings

Stock belongs to the listing across every show. Quantity counts independently sellable units.

One listing or separate listings

With quantity N, one listing with N units is the default. N separate listings creates independent one-unit listings from shared input. Later changes do not propagate.

Buy Now and Flash use a quantity stepper. During seller preparation, quantity always creates one listing with multiple units.

Stock while selling

Stock cannot change in either direction during a running sale. With no running sale, unresolved payments and reserved inventory can still restrict a stock adjustment.

Setting stock to zero manually produces Out of stock and removes the listing from its shows.

Add stock after a sale

Add stock deliberately when eligible. A sold-out listing becomes Active and Not Selling; the old sale does not reopen.

Cancellation and returns never restock automatically. Only the seller decides whether returned units can be offered again.
